Dr. McCowan values the relationships she develops with her patients. She believes that having a doctor whom you trust, who knows you well and makes you feel cared for and supported, leads to the best possible health outcomes. Dr. McCowan guides her patients through their medical journey by understanding their medical needs and advocating on their behalf with other specialists. She is beloved by her patients for her compassion and devotion to their care.

Dr. McCowan has practiced internal medicine in Greater Boston for over six years. Prior to joining Personalized Medical Care, she practiced at Newton-Wellesley Medical Group Primary Care. When not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

EDUCATION

Dr. McCowan graduated from Boston College and earned her medical degree and a masters in science in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown Alpert Medical School. Dr. McCowan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
