ABOUT DR. FINOCCHIARO

EXCELLENCE

Dr. Philip Finocchiaro is passionate about primary care. He prides himself on practicing medicine the way he was trained, grounded in long-term relationships with patients and providing comprehensive individualized care. He approaches each patient in a caring and empathetic manner and is invested in the outcomes of his patients’ care.

He understands the importance of being there for his patients when they need him. He realizes how difficult it is to navigate a complicated health care system and wants to be involved in coordinating their care with specialists he knows and trusts.

Dr. Finocchiaro was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been an internal medicine physician in the Boston area for over 20 years. Prior to joining Personalized Medical Care, he practiced at and was the Medical Director of Newton-Wellesley Hospital Primary Care in Weston. He is also a Senior Medical Director at Cotiviti, a population health company located in Waltham, MA, and sits on the Board of Trustees of The Boston Evening Clinic Foundation.

EDUCATION

Dr. Finocchiaro graduated from Boston College and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He also holds an MS in Physiology from Georgetown University. Dr. Finocchiaro is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
